Votify Technologies ("Votify," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Votify platform, a nonpartisan civic-matching service that helps users understand how their values align with candidates and ballot measures.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly: When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. We do not collect your name, phone number, or payment information at this stage.
Information collected automatically: When you visit our site, we may collect basic analytics data including pages visited, time spent, and general geographic region (country/state level only). We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across third-party sites.
Information you provide when using the platform (at launch): To deliver personalized ballot matching, we will collect information about your civic values and policy priorities. This information is used solely to generate your alignment scores and is never shared with candidates, campaigns, political parties, or advertisers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Send you product updates, launch announcements, and information about Votify;
Deliver personalized candidate and ballot matching (at product launch);
Improve and develop our platform and services;
Comply with legal obligations.
We will never sell your data. We will never use your data to target you with political advertising. We will never share your individual data with candidates, campaigns, political parties, or their affiliates.
4. Data Sharing
We share your information only with service providers (such as Netlify for hosting) who are contractually bound to protect your data, when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer where we will notify you in advance.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You may unsubscribe from our waitlist at any time, request access to your personal information, or request deletion of your data by contacting us. California, Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut residents may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Votify consumer platform is intended for users 18 and older. VotifyEd may be made available to users under 18 through licensed educational partners under appropriate COPPA- and FERPA-compliant institutional agreements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent or appropriate institutional authorization.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify waitlist members of material changes via email.

Votify is a nonpartisan civic-matching platform. We provide personalized information about candidates and ballot measures based on publicly available records and user-provided values. Votify is not affiliated with any political party, campaign, candidate, or government entity. Nothing on this platform constitutes an endorsement of any candidate, political party, or position.
2. Eligibility
The Votify consumer platform is available to users 18 years of age or older who are United States residents. Users of VotifyEd who are under 18 may access the Service only through a licensed institutional partner under appropriate authorization.
3. Waitlist
By submitting your email address, you agree to receive communications from Votify about our product launch and updates. You may unsubscribe at any time. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the platform or any specific features.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, attempt unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, scrape or harvest data without express written permission, use the Service to distribute spam or disinformation, or impersonate any person or entity.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Votify Technologies or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our express written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Votify does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranty regarding the completeness or accuracy of candidate and ballot information sourced from public records and third-party data providers.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Votify Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Votify Technologies is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
